All Nippon Airways (ANA), the leading airline group holding company in Japan, has initiated an NFT marketplace on the Ethereum blockchain. This marketplace showcases a range of offerings including aviation photography, digital collectibles, and various other items. During its launch, the marketplace enables users to utilize the MetaMask wallet for transactions and also facilitates payments using fiat currency through credit cards.
ANA GranWhale NFT Marketplace, an online platform, was launched by ANA NEO, a subsidiary specializing in immersive digital experiences within the ANA ecosystem. The inaugural collection on the marketplace will highlight the remarkable photographs of aircraft captured by Luke Ozawa, an aviation photographer with a 50-year career.
Additionally, the marketplace offers other collections, such as NFTs representing two digital 3D airplanes—a customized Boeing 787 introduced by the airline in 2011 and a unique generative art collection named Airbits, showcasing pixelated airline pilots.
ANA has launched an NFT business and the virtual platform ANA NEO will operate the “ANA GranWhale NFT MarketPlace”, making ANA the first airline in the world to sell NFT products!https://t.co/Cf7wdIKj5N

Following the footsteps of other airlines, ANA is embracing cryptocurrency concepts as part of their business offerings. Just like the low-cost Argentinian airline, which extended its collaboration with NFT ticketing company TravelX, ANA intends to provide all e-tickets as NFTs on the Algorand blockchain.
