The bid for the winning “Dookey Dash” key NFT was made by billionaire entrepreneur Adam Weitsman for 1000 ETH, where Mongraal had previously listed the key NFT for 3,333 ETH – equivalent to $5.43 million.
I have agreed to sell the key for 1000 ETH to @AdamWeitsman. Super nice guy and thrilled the sale went through with him.
A special thank you to @yugalabs for hosting an incredible competition. I look forward to competing in future events. Royalties will be paid in full.

In conducting the sale, Mongraal enlisted the help of Tre, cofounder of the NFT community Underground. Tre assisted Mongraal with negotiations with interested bidders for the Dookey Dash NFT, and “just wanted to help make sure he was getting the right price the key deserved.”
Last week, Web3 community UpDAO placed a collective bid for 690 WETH on the NFT – at the time worth $1.1 million.
The winning Dookey Dash NFT also caught the attention of meme site 9GAG, where it placed a 999 ETH bid on the key, but then soon lost to Weitsman.
